Wipers randomly shut off?

I was driving down the interstate and the wipers randomly shut off. They went back down and turned off with the switch still active. I am afraid its the switch or the motor. Have any ideas?

Check you grounds then get a multimeter and test to see if your getting power to the switch. If switch is getting power test motor plug. simplest way to diagnose it but just off hand if it went all the way down i doubt its the motor or a fuse or it woulda crapped out immediately. Wish i could help out further, just a generalized place to start trouble shooting anyways.

That works, the switch has what... 16 years on it? so it prolly is about time for it to get replaced... but I will check the motor once the weather clears up. Guess I will be driving the truck...
