too many caps ... it looks like your yelling ... i just got my tranny built and my guy said its good to 450-500 hp
mainly the weak point is the sun shell that is in the tranny, and with the rebuild get more clutches put in it (it comes 6 my guy put 8 back in) also servos and a clutch assembly was beefed up ... what broke on mine was the forward sprag

got it rebuilt and had a shift kit put in it ... with my stock 2.73 (i am getting 3.73 soon) i chirp 2nd gear HARD every time i am getting on it, the car kicks out like 10- 12 inches and snaps back inline after a moment, i can see tire marks on the road where 2nd spins

sorry caps was stuck on last night. but what i am asking is does the 4l80e fit in our cars or does i need different component. the reason i am asking is i have read up on the way they can build that trans to make it become a 6 speed auto transmission instead of a A4. And the last thing is im asking for your guys opinion if i can go with the 4l80e should i with six speed opion or should i stick with a 4l60e.

Yes, it will work but you will have to have several components:

Some way to control the transmission (If you go EFI 24x then the LS1 PCM can be tuned to control it)
    Transmission lines
    An LT1 compatible Torque Converter

the bellhousing will bolt up? i was under the impression that it wouldn't bolt up without an adaptor plate of some sort

I got that list off another thread. Everything I've read doesn't say anything about needing a bellhousing...
