RamairTA. 2000 is a lot for a stock casting head. I have a fraction of that into my heads cuz I had a local guy port em who I know is just as good as le. He's just not as main strean so charges accordingly. I do agree Good parts and work cost $ but if you shop around you find just as good for a buck less.

Hell im not one to skimp. I have a callies 383 dragon slayer crank , je custom blower pistons , supercharged ,etc...

It pays to shop around. And with anything if you have good results with a certain brand of corse your gonna support em.

It doesnt hurt my feelings at all but to say "LE is for the more budget-oriented owner who is easily pleased" is obviously just YOUR biased opinion. Lloyd ports heads for serious racers as well as "easily pleased" budget oriented owners.

I can't count how many times I've seen someone suggest AI to someone, only to have them say "well I don't need all of that for the cost, the LE1 heads will work fine for me." I'm sure with enough searching through the forums you'll find the same thing, so this isn't my opinion, it's really fact.

I know Lloyd ports for some of the big guys, but from what I have seen those are mostly aftermarket castings. On occasion his stock ported castings make their way onto a race car build, but that happens far more infrequently than AI.
