    Default 93 dyno tuneing

in my 240sx im using a painless wiring harness. this thing says it works with only the 93 ecu? wich was fine mecause my engine is a 93 engine so i went and had ion from mad tuner wipe out the vats and essential things for swapping the engine over but now that iv gone with an aftermarket cam and compression ratio i need to be able to tune this thing at the dyno shop. anyone have any idea what you have to do to get someone to dyno tune a 93 ecu???

    EDIT:

i have searched and saw there are chip burners, cables, computer programs..... but i dont know what the first thing to tuneing an ecu is about nor do i exactly want to buy tons of crap to flash these piggy back chip things

The dyno tuner needs to have tunercats, a chip burner, and an aldl cable

There's some moates programs that work for tuning the 93's also. In addition to the chip burner, chips, and tuning program, Tunercats is HIGHLY recommended as a datalogging program.

Check out www.moates.net. LOTS of stuff that works there. Also......talk to PCMForLess (Alvin) as he's pretty well known on the 93 stuff and can usually get VERY close over the mail.

If you dont want to buy all the stuff to burn chips you can use the Moates Ostrich.
    http://www.moates.net/ostrich-20-the....html?cPath=64
It hooks to the adapter ( you will need one of these too if you dont have one http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adap....html?cPath=64)
in place of the chip for loading tunes instead of burning multiple chips. I have run my ostrich with the tune full time without issues, but I do have a chip burned with same tune in the ostrich just incase. Also you can load tunes in "real time" with TunerPro R/T to the ostrich via a laptop and the usb cable. I use this ALDL cable with my laptop, works great. http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd1u
