datalogging temps
i finely got my lap top to talk with my car in freescan and i wondered how hot my car was actually running with a 160* stat
freescan says 177* car fully warmed and driving on the highway, same in the city maybe a few times it got to 180* ...
is this too cold for my car?

id say its fine with our 40 degree weather mine. runs about 175
what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that allow me to do with things that would be a nightmare for people like you.

I never have any problems in the winter time with my car. Its the damn Florida Summers I start really looking at my coolant temps. I always end up playing with the fan temps to keep it check.
