brake and blinker issues on one side only
Info: I've had this car a month - purchased from the original owner w 106k mi. '93 TA, no accidents but a repaint. Auto
Headlights OFF - front blinkers work fine. Rear, brake and blinkers work fine but passenger side is ever so slightly dimmer. I'd guess ten percent.
Headlights ON - front blinkers work fine. Rear, driver side works fine, however the passenger brake and blinker are so dim, you cannot see them over the running lights, which are also dimmer than the driver side running lights.
I've replaced all bulbs and tested w the housing removed and both filaments light up, just not very brightly. I've located the ground by the latch and the two by the radiator and cleaned all connections.
Nothing seems to help... What should I look at next?
I have a new column I plan to install in a month or two... And new taillights. Fwiw, the left turn signal indicator glows a faint green when the headlights are on. Also the stalk broke so the original owner wired in a foot/floor clicker for the high beams...whick is why I have a new column.
Would a LS1 taillight harness work?
Please help

id change the flasher( the one close to your right knee near the center console). sometimes they can really make things go haywire.
make sure everything has a good ground, including where the bulbs go in the sockets. mine were crusty and caused all sorts of problems. jiggle the wires where they go into the socket while the lights are on and see if the brightness changes. maybe some bad wires?

That is the correct name...it's no the flashed if it's working.it really sounds like your resistance isnt correct.what modifications have been done to the car ? Alarms ? Stereos ? It sounds like you have a voltage drop somewhere I'm the circuit or your headlights are drawing too much

the stalk broke so the original owner installed a button to turn the high's on and off
it has an aftermarket 'Carbine' alarm but its just for keyless entry. If I hold the panic button, nothing happens. If I lock/unlock, the front blinkers and rear taillights flash and again, the right rear is dim compared to the left. I've considered ripping it out, connecting all the correct wires back, and installing a GM/correct keyless entry.
fwiw, it has a Monsoon head unit pushing the factory Bose speakers but I would assume that would be a direct swap (93's didnt get Monsoon)
