    Default Help With New Wheels

Well I kind of put myself in a situation, I'm installing an 8.8 in my car and its 4" narrower overall. I want this setup to give me a deeper dish on the rear wheels. Now when I first started this project I was going to get some torque thrust wheels, but now I changed my mind because I don't like the stepped lip on those wheels. I also like the billet specialties but they also have a stepped lip.

I really like how my car looks with the ZR1s too though, just a classic look IMO. And I have thought about buying a new set of wheels and sending them out to be widened, but would they be able to make a bigger lip than the deep dish ZR1 style wheels? Instead of having a 2" lip have a 4" lip? But also I don't think I have seen the ZR1s in an 18?? Otherwise I'm looking at spending about $3-4k just on wheels.

Now another problem, I'm probably going to do a mini tub and run a 18x10 up front and a 18x12 or 11.5 or 11 if I really have to. But for a 12" wheel I would have to run offset LCAs and do a mini tub for sure. I know I can get away with an 11" rim and a BFH. Or would I be better off with 18x9s up front and 10,5 or 11s out back?

Sorry guys I'm kind of thinking and typing, but if you have some ideas post them up. Or pics of your big rear wheels and tires lets see them
