no it did, i just dont know where to get the tool to install then, its a cone like tool.

they should go in fairly easy....if not you can do it with a rubber hammer, but be easy with it and be sure to go in square.

well if a hammer there is no way that I will be able to hit the racer flush since its in the back of the diff.

ok so I just finished prob the worst rearend rebuild EVER!! I had no impact so I couldnt get the preload good enough, but it wasnt that loose at all. Didnt get gear paint except what I think was thread locker it came with my ratech complete kit. Didnt get the backlash either so I used my judgment on it lol. This isnt gonna be like this forever I just had to put it together before I move in 12 days and also before I deploy, so Hopefully after I put some oil in it was better than it was before.

yah I know lol, I pretty much said screw it and had to put it back b4 on base housing yells at me for my car being worked on. I guess a S60 is in my future.
