I have 315's for the rear tires now will a 325 or 345 fit
does anyone know if ether one of these size tires fit in the rear of a 96 firebird formula. If minor mods need to be done that is fine I can do them. If you have pics pleas show them with your size thanks

Someone on here was supposed to post pictures months ago in their build thread and never did. I have never run bigger than a 315. I am assuming you are running on a stock rim?

you CAN tuck a 335 with the right BS but they are going to peek out of the fender a little

I am running the Torque Thrust 2 rim and it is 17X11 for the rear. Since I work in the tire industry this may not be as difficult as it may seem since the 315 has a section width of 12.6,, a 325 has a section width of 13.0 and a 345 is 13.6. A simple difference of only one single inch to figure out if I have the room for in a already tight wheel well. A friend of mine is running a 12 inch wide rim with a 315 tire and he had to make some room however the same tire fits on my 11 inch wide rim with no mods but oh yea its close

I can tell you that my Z06 wheels, sitting against 1/4" spacers are holding all they can with the 315s (at least without modification.....
