Default Found out what i can do against a LS1

I ran into a buddy last night with a stock LS1 M6 camaro. I was curious to see if he could keep up to me at all, so this was the time to find out.
Race 1, I let him out from a dig about 3 cars. I dropped the clutch around 3k, car went to 5k spinning but was pulling hard. Shift into 2nd and pulled even with him, on the 2-3 shift, taking my time as im having some shifter problems, i had shot about 1/2 car ahead top of 2nd, and by the time i got into 3rd, i was 1/2 car back. Through 3rd i could see him in my rearview mirror already, ran out through 5k in 4th and he was waaaaaay back there.
2nd race, from a 10mph roll, i gave him about 2 cars and came back even by the time i shifted into 2nd. Ran through 3rd and had 8-10 cars on him.
Both these races i was shifting around 55-5800, had 1k rpm left but i dont like taking it that high.
At that point the pipe blew off my TB, and the belt managed to take a shit. So i pulled the belt off, and we raced N/A vs N/A. We left even and i put 2 cars on him, when i let off top of 4th he was coming around my pass door pretty good, but i think i held him off. The stock TB must be quite a restriction because my guage showed 4.5" of vacuum at WOT.

From the LS1's perspective.... "Man, my cars so bad ass.. I almost hung with a boosted LT1 car... it was sick"
