Lost my wedding ring. oooops!
Well I didn't really loose it but that's what the mrs thinks. She asked why I take it off. I'm always working on cars in one way or another so I take it off so I don't phuk it up. I told her that and I didn't loose it. I had taken it off to do some work on the 54 and I set it by my Camaro keys. Well that day my grand daughter was over and like most toddlers they are curious about everything. I walked into the room just in time to catch her grabbing my keys off my dresser and since then I haven't been able to find that little phukr. The mrs has been stressing because of my lack of employment and worries about the future and this just added to that stress. I tried to assure her that I would find it (eventually) and a ring doesn't change my stature as a married man but to no avail. Ugh! Women!

i have lost/misplaced 3 of the things... I dont wear them when i am machining or wrenching either. I dont want to lose that finger!! LOL I have been in the no job position before, i know the feelings. Hopefully you find it and and she will be less stressed.

That sucks man. I've lost mine before (once was for good on my honeymoon in Cancuun as it was accidentally tossed into the Gulf of Mexico). I am actually on wedding ring #3 right now (same original marriage though).
You are correct that it is just a symbol, and it doesn't mean anything after that. But the Mrs usually will have a chip on their shoulder until you get another one so all the other single girls out there know you are taken.1995 Z28 - disfunctional now, perhaps insane after its "treatment"

I dont know how long you al have been married, but even when I take off my ring the imprint is still there. It is pretty obvious, even to the single girls.. LOL
