    im a big fan of high comp motors ,the power they produce ,the throttle resp and so on .this is mostly a nitrous motor anyways since i have been drivin it the car dont respond badly to 93 as long as im not to hard on it

    But isn't it just more of a hassle/expense to make the car NEED race gas? I mean why not lower it a point or even half a point and lose what, a max of 20whp? And have the ability to run 93 without any problems.

    Cheaper for gas and you can get on it whenever you want without worrying about detonation. I mean, I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I just don't see the advantage of having it that high on such a mild motor. There is nothing that that extra half-full point of compression is giving you that just a little larger of a nitrous jet can't without having to worry about race gas.

    i always run race fuel when im on the jug so its not a big deal ,besides i should of said it earlier but im more than likely goin to e-85 over the wint anyways .i know you guys are just tryin to figure out why i did that but the car isnt a d/d for me it mostly gets driven late at night on the weekends, or at the track yes i do drive it on occasion with my sons in it but it is a toy .i weighed all the options before i pulled the trigger with it ,i know i could of went 383 or bigger for what i have in it but its what i wanted and my god it does what it needs to do very well i must say .oh and im runnin le2 heads for now

    my origanal intent was to build a turbo motor and use the stuff i had from my 88 iroc that was f/i .but i got away from it as it was a pian in the ass ,dont get wrong i loved it every time the t-72 spooled but it was a constant headache
