fuel pump help

K just got the walbro 255 and I'm having problems with the bucket . What type of glue go I need to apply to the bucket to close the lid .... I'm doing the trap door and the lid on the bucket doesn't convince me that it will hold.. I have read the threads and they say to use glue but never stated which will hold up in the gasoline....I'm wanna go to the local shop see what is the poper glue to use .... help on this
