At Home Powder Coating
I want to do powder coating at my house.. I would not do any huge parts like rims, just small odd and ends. Now, I don't know much about the process. Do you prep the part just like you would for paint? Afterwards, hang it and spray it then just bake it in the oven and your done?
Also, I have a HVLP Spray Gun. Can I just that and buy powder for that and use it?
Here's the kit I'm looking at if you can't use a HVLP gun... http://www.amazon.com/Eastwood-Hotco...powder+coating

Now.. I don't have my own oven lol. Could I use a toaster oven? It goes up to 450 degrees it says. It's big enough for parts that I would want powder coated. And in the future, possible get a normal oven.
Shed some light on this, I don't know much about it thanks
