    apparently I dont know as much as I thought I did about tires. C,D,E rating have nothing more to do with then the amount of plys the tire is constructed out of but is not an indication of actual load capacity. You can actually have a C or D tire that actually has a higher Load rating then an E tire. Tire load rating go from 1 to 150.
