Shaker and cowl?

Wondering if anyone has ever done this:
Always liked shaker hoods, and a while ago a vendor over on the other of the techs released a shaker hood kit for 4th gens.
Always liked cowl hoods, and they've always been around.

Wondering if anyone has combined these? A cowl that is attached to the engine to act as a heat extractor from the engine bay, that would be cut through the hood of the car.

Stock hood, cut to accommodate a cowl (hardwood style?) the kind that are designed to be glassed or welded onto a standard hood, that is mounted via bracket to the top of an lt1.

Or am i out to lunch. Thoughts?
