major milestone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aOGxHjUI8E&feature=plcp
so i got the car on april 3 2010 and is like 148,xxx miles and a spun rod bearing. i have done a little work to it.
i have put a different LT1 in to it that came out of a 97 camaro and had 94,xxx miles as soon as i got the car.
soon after that i had to have the tranny rebuilt cause the 3-4 clutches went out.
once that was done i wanted to do rear gears and got some motive 3.73's ... those got fucked up after 246 miles. so i just bought a new rear axle that came out of a M6 car and has 3.42's.
shortly after that the tranny that was just rebuilt had the 3-4 clutches go out in 6 months and 6 days. i had it rebuilt again cause it was under warranty. that second rebuild only lasted 3 months 15 days till the same thing happened. so again i had him rebuild the tranny. and told him if it goes out i am going to need a full refund cause this is not what i paid for. so far it has lasted and show no sign of dying yet.
i have only had the car 2years and a few months but i have had every thing in the drivetrain replaced except the drive shaft.
i love my car but the project never ends. next is the brakes and suspension stuff. then lastly the cosmetics. wish me luck on my adventures.94 Formula "budget build" #thebeaterbird
