Alpine Subs
Well turns out my car has some pretty nice aftermarket speakers in the sails and doors and they sound great with the stock amp and my new Alpine Headunit. I just need more bass though. My highs and mids are fine. I listen to mainly country and rock. I am getting into rap and hip hop though but Sound Quality is definitly a priority over BOOM.
Im not wanting to spend a lot, maybe 150 at most. Im looking at either a 12 inch Alpine Type E in a sealed box or a 10" Alpine Type R. I know the Type R will be lightyears better but Ive heard good things about the accuracy and SQ of the Type E. I have a friend at Bestbuy that can get me the employee discount so I can get one there cheaper than online.
Do you guys have any other recommendations? Any of you guys using the Type R or Type E?1997 Trans am- M6- Ebay Longtubes, Summit X pipe with Magnaflows, CAI, Adj LCAs with relocation brackets, Comp engineering shocks, Competition stage 2 clutch.
