Nice man. My dad had a '86 back when I had my '94 Z28 that he bought as a project. I kinda wanted to keep it so I could tell the girls at high school I had a Corvette. :D I liked my Z28 better though. If it had been a LT1 Vette in ok shape, I would've done it.

My grandpa has a convertible 94. It is nice, they are very high tech cars for the year model.
something else I noticed is it has jolting throttle response compared to any lt1 fbody Ive driven.
Congrats, I almost bought a 96 LT4 M6 C4, but the whole getting in and out of the C4's are harder than hell for anyone over 5'11 LOL

Now the only thing that scares me about the car is there is a coolant leak somewhere. He wasnt sure but said it started right after they fixed the waterpump, when driving home I noticed the temp gauge wasnt working, got it home and popped the hood it was still really dark and hard to tell, but you could see alittle steam, and looked to be coming from the water pump area. I also noticed a little noise coming from the front PS valve cover. Kinda sounded like a loose rocker. so I have to check that out.
Im going to drive it and look at it tomorrow and let him know what my desicion is. I could probably get the car from him for alot less if i keep it or just give it back.

I looked for awhile I couldnt see a leak or wet area and the coolant was still full. There was just a little dampness on the waterpump cover as far as I could see. I wonder if he ever noticed it leaking or he just thought it was leaking because it was never fully bled and had air pockets in the system. so he just kept filling and thinking it was leaking. IDK, Im at work and just had a chance to wash it down real quick and look it over. Im off work tomorrow and will get a better look at everything.
So how did it compare to your Fbody? Handling, fun to drive, ergonomics, etc?
