Are you saying you get the codes, even with the EVAP solenoid connected to the harness, and with the skip-shift solenoid connected? Again, people have been bypassing the skip-shift this way, and eliminating codes since the first F-Body skip-shift solenoid appeared in 1994 models. Measure the resistance of your EVAP solenoid. I think it's in the range of 15-30 ohms. A larger resistor will keep the current lower, reduce the power rating requied for the resistor, and still provide an acceptable voltage signal when the circuit is energized.
