What doesnt grind my gears (AKA WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY)

Ok I figured that since we have a place to sound off on what pisses you off, why not have a place to sound off on what makes you happy?

I blew off working on the Camaro today to spend the day with her and the dogs and even tho I still need to work on the car and it may not make it to work tomorrow I said the hell with it and spent the day doing this at dog park first then Costco where I met up with a guy who I havent seen since jr high.
My friend works at Costco and is a former SFPD officer and it sure was great to see him and hang out with my girl.
Now its your turn to post up and share what makes you happy.

Hanging out with old friends I don't get to see often.

Laying in bed every night with Lacey.

The sound of my truck makes my pants tight.

These are in no particular order: Lifted diesel trucks give me a stiffy. The first kill of the season, doesn't matter what I'm hunting. Giving gifts that I've made/built. Fresh haircuts.

my wife and 2 boys. My friends. My immediate family. my toys. my projects.

I'M BUYING A HOUSE TOMORROW!!!

My son, he will always be my greatest accomplishment.
My car because no matter how much I may get frustrated while working on it. There is a peace about being by myself. And building something with no one to impress but me.

Thank you. I know you are an LEO. Are you a Trooper?

No... never even applied with the state police. S.P is mostly traffic, and as fun as that is at first...personal interaction and being a part of a specific community allows much more chance to make more differences in peoples lives. That was more of what I wanted. In fact, Im going on 5 years + of not writting a traffic citation.

There is a officer in wentzville, about 20 miles from me...he is notorious there lol, every week he gets at least $1200 in citations

WOW! now theres a guy who really wants to make a difference!---- NOT!!!
I never liked the idea of writing tickets and the agency I trained with point blank said " We dont write tickets we take care of REAL crime" and that was enough for me to take a liking to the Kern County Sheriffs Dept.
I wish I had the honor to become a LOE but I guess everything happens for a reason and it didnt happen and who knows maybe my x wife was right and I would have went out one night and came back in a bag because her so called "visions" were rarely wrong and it did kind spook me.

Btw.. 1200 on citations a week is less than 10 tickets a week.

We just had 8 inches or so and it's going pretty strong out there , I love hitting all the back road's , making the first track's.
We haven't had very good winter weather the last few years this reminds me of when I was a kid when we had some snow .

New Jersey don't get a lot of snow?

not the past few years. when i was a kid i remember the norm was once a week a shot of 10-12 with no melting in between. now, this has been so far the most active winter in a while.

Wish I lived further south as to not see snow ever. I hate how no one around has any idea how to drive in it, grocery stores get wiped out at the first threat of a flurry, and how it can snow on a Tuesday and be 65 on Wednesday.
