blower keeps spinning when i kill the motor, you cant turn the pulley while holding the impeller and vice versa. the blower is still pumping air big time! it sounds normal, just its spinning down.

I am by no means familiar with prochargers. Though is your by pass valve operating correctly? Maybe that is boost built up in the charge tube with no where else to go?
in that vid the charge pipe was disconnected i was also checking to see if it was pumping air... and it is
Not familiar with them either. Did it just start doing it? I wonder if its normal, maybe something internal allows the impeller to wind down slowly instead of screeching to a halt?
Wow... My p1 kills with the key.. Well maybe half a second aft but def not that much hang time... So the pulley stops turning...but the internals are still spinning???Quote:

Doesn't seem right at all. I would give procharger a call. Perhaps there is something internal to avoid the head unit getting shocked from rapid rpm changes and it's slipping more than usual?
Definitely call procharger......that isn't right.

this is a new problem and this makes no sense to me.. everything is gear to gear and its doing this. but yet its still moving air... and ill be calling them 1st thing monday morning.
if your not running a spraged damper stop running it now and call procharger!
removed the blower, not a spec of metal in the oil in the unit... thing is a damn mystery!
I can't tell in the video but when the engine is off and the sc is winding down, the pulley is not turning, correct?
nope pulley isnt turning.
Didnt u have one come apart before and go thru the engine?
