nice... so let me get this straight is it single or twin turbo???? Cause I see one turbo on one side but I don't see the other one and the exhaust goes backwards......

It is single, there is a crossover pipe that can't be seen in the pictures that merges the passenger side with the driver's

very nice! cant wait to see it running and the numbers it puts down.

Im looking to have it done by March (hopefully). I'm expecting 500 on 10psi.. and close to 600-650 on 15psi.. the 15 will only be run on occasion, 10psi will most likely be my cruise around setting.

Because of my compression, I'm hoping that race gas won't at all be necessary even at 15psi. And also because my block is not o-ringed, I don't plan on going over 17-18 EVER.

I might end up keeping my stock block to build up to a 383, but with the amount of money I'm spending on the 355, I doubt I'll end up doing that

That's going to be a pretty sick ride, man. Definately keep us posted.

That kit should make great power! My welds are 100% better now on my newer stuff (built that kit awhile ago). That same designed alreay made 574rwhp @ 11psi on a load bearing dyno by one of my other customers.

Yea I think I'll be content with 600whp especially because with my compression, I should have room to grow.

yea hopefully everything comes together nicely in the february area... I just have to be on a strict budget with what I want to put on it as I'm not sure how much EFI is going to want for everything.. I'll have to give up a couple luxuries I wanted to add on for the build

I simply don't have the time with school to do the swap myself, especially since it's my DD so I'm going to have to borrow a car for a bit while it's all getting done.

sounds good, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with ignition/computer... prostkr seems to think I can switch to an LS1 pcm for under 500$ (I told him it's not gonna happen)

I wouldn't have a problem but because I have the 93 burning a chip and everything is just going to be too much of a pain in the ass for this build. I'd love to have a FAST system but I know that money will be far to tight to drop 2000+ on a computer.

That's why I was hoping you got your system sorted out in time so I can possibly integrate the same thing (for a price of course but I'd imagine it's far less than a FAST

10-4, I should be up and running by the end of Feb. so I think that would work out. It will be a helluva lot cheaper too. I still need to find someone that will be able to cut several out on an EDM at a good bulk rate so they can be nice and cheap. I'm trying to work out a COP setup to work with it aswell for alot cleaner intall.

Man you have to tell me who makes that intake. I'm trying to do the exact same thing on my engine and I can't find a direct bolt on intake. I'm hoping I can find one like you have.

It is just a simple single plane setup though, nothing special

There are no direct bolt on single plain intakes available. You'll have to modify one to bolt up. The Victor EFI manifold for a small block chevy is popular as it comes with injector pockets drilled and Edelbrock sells bolt on rails for it.

Well I had to switch ways on what turbo I wanted to go with...

I was originally going to be getting a PT74GTS ball bearing turbo from a friend but he decided he likes it on his regal more than he thought he would.

So then I noticed that Borg Warner S400 turbos can be converted to T4 flanges for a small fee so I was going to get an S400-75. But after talking to Jon, I'm informed that the turbo itself is physically too large to fit with the way my kit is setup.

SO.. haha I have decided to go with the TC78 F1 trim. I'm awaiting Jon's response as to if it will fit because his kit is rated up to a 76 so if he says no I will drop down to the TC76 F1 trim... they are the same price so going a bit larger wasn't anymore expensive.

I'm not exactly a turbonetics guy (I much more prefer the Precision line but they are a good $3-500 more expensive) but I do know some people with them and I was assured by forcedinductions.com that they are quality pieces.

I was also told that the TCs are basically the same turbo as the HTQ pieces from Precision.

So upon Jon's response and my check that is supposed to clear tomorrow, by the end of the week I should have the turbo and blanket ordered ;)
