Someone in my neighborhood apparently got upset at me the other night when I was trying to get the Camaro going...it is too loud for their liking....instead of talking to me or calling cops or whatever, I come home from work last night and find 2 eggs splattered across my paint! They were already dry and did some damage to the clear coat....I might be able to buff it to a shine again, but I'm not sure yet.............
i would be pissed off! hope its not too bad.
My car has been egged. did nothing to my paint.. Cleaned it off and waxed the area.

Do some burnouts tonight then stake it out and catch who did it. lol no but really, I hope it comes off. The car is black so you will see everything.

Brock, it is running but having some issues and the new job I have doesnt pay me enough to be able to fix them all. We were diagnosing it the other night when I was driving around...that is what pissed off the neighborhood. We werent hot rodding or revving or anything, just casual driving. I am trying to get it going enough to start whittling down on the problems it has.
Thanks for the responses guys, it appears the clear coat is hazing, but not too bad and it should buff out, but no damage to the paint as far as I can see. I will keep y'all posted...
That sucks man. File a police report. U never know if they egged other stuff the same night...and if they got caught....usually it can all be linked together.

Sorry to hear this man. I'm with Larry in filing the report. You definately don't mess with someone elses sports car.
At any rate, its good nothing major was bad. Eggs sitting for long periods in the sun seem to do the most damage. FWIW, Zaino wax and polish have proven to protect paint on Fastbirds car when it got egged once (I believe). Its expensive and laboring, but its amazing the shine and protection it offers if you have to leave your car outside and you don't think this might be the last time this happens.
Wtf is with people egging someones car anyways? I mean really? In Tuscaloosa if they think your car is too loud they proceed to stomp on your drivers side headlight which gives you a broken headlight motor and assembly. Cops didn't do anything.
