Posted this over on ls1tech but I figured I would get more input from the actual LT crowd.

I like it, not too much and nice addition.
Thank it looks nice. not over powering and fits the bumper very well!
So much more nice and subtle from the 6ltreater one. I like it
Thats what I was hoping for, just a small subtle addition. Turned out good I think, not to mention cheap and easy.
Definitely looks better than the 6LE. Looks like your car is lowered too. How much scraping (if any) do you get with that thing?
Yeah its got the ls1 eibach (1.8") drop springs. The lip has only been on there for 2 days but I haven't noticed it scraping anything. Usually just the exhaust drags is all.
Oooh I like!
I wish firebirds had splitters that looked this good. would love to have some on my car to protect it from cones and crap when Im on road courses.
Looks good, where'd you get it or did you make it?
Home made...if there is interest I can throw together a DIY thread...I took pics but its easy.
Foam garage seal?

Yeah, its rubber and used 3M double sided tape. 20 bucks and 20 minutes.
Im liking it alot.....
Thanks for all the love guys. I was hoping to get a better reaction here than LS1tech. I actually stumbled across a picture of a camaro on flickr with this done to it and I Google'd everything I could think of until I lucked out and found the idea in a ricer forum.
Well this forum is much better for support and not being bashed..

Thats awesome and will probably work out great if scraping is an issue. Definitely put together a write up on it when you get a chance.Quote:

And two rolls (5ft each) of this, like 3 bucks each...

Unroll the rubber and decide which edge you want to hang down. Each edge is a different shape and size so its you preference, both look good so good luck deciding. Once you pick, stick the rolls of tape to the opposite side from the side you want to hang down. When you do this, I started in the center of the roll of rubber and worked each roll of tape to the outside in opposite directions. This lets the two separate pieces of tape meet under the point of the nose of the car which makes it easier to handle. (Only peel one side of the tape at a time.) Once you get the tape into place on the rubber take a heat gun or hair dryer and heat it up slightly and press or roll it on good to make sure it adhered. Let it sit stretched out while you prep the car, clean the underside of the bumper with soapy water and/or alcohol. Make sure its clean and DRY! After you've done that you can begin applying the rubber to the car. I started in the center of the car using the center split in the tape directly under the point of the nose and worked to one side then the other. Peel the tape and begin to stick it to the car. Do not press it in firmly at first so you may move it around until you decided where it looks best to you. Go slow and step back and look at it every few feet. Once you get to the wheel, trim to your liking and repeat for the opposite side again starting at the nose and working to the other wheel. Once it is completely on the car, go back with your heat gun/hair dryer and heat the rubber under the car and FIRMLY press in to make sure it adhered. Thats it...your done. 20 bucks/20 minutes
Not my cup of tea, but hats off for doing something different!
wow that was very simple. probably will look better on a black car than my white one, but i might give it a shot one day. thanks for the write up!
Would it be possible to get a shot of it up close level with where the seal touches the bumper?
I like how it looks man
