Ive used GM air conditioner seals available at any parts store. Worked great and had no leaks.
I just went to GM and payed the 5 bucks each and got it over with didn't really wanna take a chance with something else and have to mess with them again if they ever did leak
i want to know of any different alternatives.... I know that original parts are the best and i also know that i can go down to the dealership or order them online, but the dealership sucks and waiting for them in the mail takes too long. has anybody used anything different or that NAPA 730-2922, and paul95z, exactly what kind of seals did you use??
Man I was at the fucking dealer yesterday tring to buy some. Unfortunatly I didnt have the part number and they couldnt figure it out for the life of them. I even pointed out on the diagram what they were. Then they said you have to buy the entire steam pipe assembly to get them. I just left shaking my head....without them

man which ever ones look similar to what fell off.. you should be able to goto napa and ask for washer seals for an a/c compressor and they can give them to you.
o washer seals, im thinking o-ring type seals
go to autozone and look for them in the drain plug aisle :) thats what we use... usually have to hit 2 stores though lol
That's what I did. The dealer only had 2 in stock, I ended up getting some universal oil drain plug seals from the parts store. They look just like the GM ones (washer with a rubber gasket in the center) for 1/2 the price!Quote:
