Original or what

So right now my car is in a horrible state with paint, clear coat coming off and chipping. This car was wreck at one point in its life from what i saw on my vehicle report. But whoever painted it can definitely put their gun down and get to walking.

Right now i am debating on a few different ideas:

1. Original blue body and black roof
2. All blue, the body and roof with a black stripe
3. just completely blue no black or white.
4. Just flat black (nothing to fancy really)

This car isn't going to be much except a sunny weekend weather car, with maybe some strip time. Im always wanting to hear what my LTX lovers have to say.

flat black ... i hides all the little dents and dings and doesn't get so dirty so fast

Flat black looks badass man. I have it on my truck, and it definately turns heads.

i think blue with a black roof would look good

Ask NINJA to see a pic of a flat black 4th gen... thats what he has....

add some type of racing stripes 2 add a lil sumthin 2 it

I really like the Camaros that have glossy paint with a different color scoop. Flat black is always evil looking, though.

it'd have to be satin black and even though that's an AMAZING color, doesn't beat a nice blue. I think blue with a black roof would be the best way to go. Gloss black headlight buckets. Oh and blue mirrors to get rid of the Mickey Mouse look. :D

I got rid of the black headlight buckets but I may bring it back and I have thought about getting rid of the black mirrors.

Black buckets with a black scoop :)

Blue with black roof, buckets, and mirrors is the only way to go on LT1 Camaro.

I vote for blue with black buckets and roof for sure, and maybe black mirrors and scoop. I used to love flat or satin black ,but now I would MUCH rather have nice shiny paint. the flat black always looks unfinished to me and a lot of the time it makes me think that the only reason its flat black is cuz the owner is trying to cover something up but either doesn't have the skills to do body work and real paint or they don't have the money for real paint. I don't mean to offend you if you have or like flat black. It can look good sometimes, and if your just wanting to get your car presentable for cheap its not a bad way to go. Plus Medium Quasar Blue is an absolutely awesome color.

Popo I like your car as I think its tastefully done. You put in the effort to make flat black look good and it shows. I see a LOT of half assed flat black spray bombed cars and trucks around here and when I hear flat black thats what I think of.

No on the flat black. Seen a 4th gen flat black. Doesn't mix well unless you do a road-race looking setup -- wide rear tires, really deep dish wheels (narrowed rear end), SS spoiler, super low, etc. Its hard for a new car to pull off without the correct suspension setup in my opinion. I'd go black roof/buckets.

You could always do a satin black vinyl wrap ... always removable? lol

Thank You!!! Unfortunately at closer glance you will see my flat black is out of a can....... lol. But I keeps it kleen!

with the right techniques and prep you can get a decent end product out of a can. For a matte black finish out of a can I have had great results with Montana brand gold series "shock black" with a fat cap. Its an acrylic artist spray paint commonly used for graffiti art, but it sprays super thick and sticks and wont run and with the fat cap you get a nice wide spray pattern instead of the normal 4" wide pattern of normal spray paints. I don't know how it holds up long term, but I painted my buddies honda bumper with it about a year ago and it still looks good.

So me and popo talked it over I'm going to do camouflage with white silver and blue paint scheme :)

IT works.... Im POPO... and mine is a black and white.... you.........

Yes they are I wish that I could get wider saw blades and have them since they're silver to begin with.
