Intermediate no start, Good spark, Weak noid light

Long story short. My 96 with a OBD1 PCM. Since I got it back running it has failed to start about 3 or 4 times. Last night we was messing with it and it wouldn't start. Stuck an adjustable spark checker and it has a good spark. Stuck a noid light in the injecter harness and it has a very faint light for a couple rounds then nothing. The last few times I have pushed on the PCM connections and/or pecked the PCm some and it would start(Like it did last night) Couple weeks ago I found an injector fuse blown, something I have never seen. What is everyones input? Something wrong in the PCm or bad connection at PCM? or something else. Thanks for any input

How much total run time do you have on it? You might check the wiring harness for critter bites.

NOt much, Car has sit for years but I went over the harness pretty good a few months ago. Yesterday it done it again and I had another PCM I swapped in it. Fired up, Reloaded my current tune and it has yet to fail. I Hope that has it fixed.

Well I thought I had fixed it, went to unload it off the trailor while ago and back to a no start. Guess Ill go over the wiring harness again also check grounds

Ok, so i took about 2 hours this morning and checked the grounds and hots going to the PCM( unplugged of coarse), Then with a power probe applied either hot or ground to put them under a load(Power probe has a 10 amp breaker) and all were good. Power is getting to one side of the injecter. Finally I swapped the orgiginal PCM back in the car and it started. Im lost. Im starting to thing that killing the battery disconect everytime I park the car for more than a few minutes is having an effect, but not sold on it yet. Id say that it could be something in the tune but both PCMs have the same tune loaded in them(retard or too much fuel at start) Any more suggestions?
Will VATS effect injecters? I thought it only effected the start and fuel pump circuts

The only thing I can think of aside from a break in the wires is moisture inside a connector. You may want to check the connections at the pcm and on the strut tower, one of those is injector voltage.

I clean them tommorow with contact cleaner and see what happens, Thanks

OK, couple more hours invested today. been reading tonight on VATS and that it will diable the injecters. I have VATS tuned out on tuner cats( 3 places in the switch table) is this the only place I need to tune it out? also with it tuned out will it not look for a fuel enable signal? The fuel inable it wire A25, How can i check this? Do I need a 50hz bypass modual? Not sure if Im going in the right direction but taking a stab at it.

Tuning it out of the PCM is the same as the 50 hz bypass module. I would also do the resistor bypass. I've been looking into VATS too because my car starts and dies after a couple seconds. There is a writeup for the resistor bypass on shbox.com

I got the correct resistor at radio shack this weekend. Still not convinced that tis is my problem because there is no security light staying on.
