Wideband to PCM
I have seen a few places where some of you have tied your wideband into the factory PCM. Im running the AEM 30-4100 digital wide band and would like to be able to hook it up and set the channel in Datamaster so that i can log AFR. I believe from the AEM manual, i can use the white cable on the gage to do this. (white and blue are under the dash not connected to anything). I have removed all of the A/C equipment & egr equipment and this is strictly a drag car. Is there anything up under the dash that i can hook into that goes back to the PCM that would allow me to do what i want to do?

Im not 100% but I think they use the ac pressure switch to hook into. Then go into datamastes and chance it to read a/f
-
I say not 100% cause I read it once and it wouldnt work for me cause I still have ac
-
you can wire it into the a/c sensor.
just looking around i found this. thats what i plan on doing as well.

Cool thanks for the info @SexyTransAm @blkchevyz!
@SexyTransAm, should work if you use the switch to alternate the signal right??
Looks like all i need to do is find the red/black wire that goes to D12 on the PCM and splice my white output cable from my meter into it and then set it up to read out a/c press in Datamaster! Hopefully its as easy as it sounds.

i had thought that but never look into it

well it covers how to put it on a switch in the link that was posted. now just got to find how to chance it in datamaster to read right lol

I have my AEM wired to AC port. Here is the datamaster info you need.
First you need to set up a custom engine data display in Datamaster.
Check “Variable Enabled” box, this will enable to display our custom engine data
- Byte Number: 30,
- Information: Air / Fuel Ratio, or anything up to you
- Variable Name: Wideband O2
- Units: AFR
- Gain: .039012
- Offset: 10
- Data Type: INT
- Display Format: 0.00,
-
To do this did you modify the existing AC input in Datamaster? I know mine displayed A/C press when i set it up but i disabled it in the check table so its not showing nothing. Or Do you mean setup an all new input for it to read? Is Byte 30 where its gathering the input from on the PCM?

i found someone using a LC-1 like i am and set it up like this
- Byte Number: 30,
- Information: Air / Fuel
- Variable Name: Wideband O2
- Units: AFR
- Gain: 0.05896
- Offset: 7.35
- Data Type: INT
- Display Format: 0.00,
