search xfi280 and you will get more results. its the same cam. still not a lot of info on them though. I have one in my engine but I have not run it yet.

Ok will do, it looks like it would be a decent cam.

I have the xfi 292 cam 1 size bigger. It works great high revving cam with a fast hard lobe. And its in my dd with a 3500 stall.

Has anyone had spring issues with the XFI lobes? I've narrowed down my choices to the XFI280 and older XE 230/236 and can't decide whether or not I feel like worrying about the cam eating springs with the more aggressive ramp on the former. Very similar specs overall.

How does it perform at the track 97firehawk?

My car is a m6 and I'm still working out the traction bugs but it does well I'm still running stock heads and intake unported and I've spun my way to a 12.36 @114 I'm hoping with a better tune and traction to drop into the 11s .
McCauleyWB I have not had any issues with the recommended beehive springs they have been on there for several years now , one thing is no matter what the valve train is a bit noisy

Ok awesome so I shouldn't have to much of a problem hitting 11's with a good tune then. Lol if you don't mind me asking what was your 69 ft?
