I'm sick of changing them. BR6ES NGK gapped at .030. Every 50 miles it gets a new set. Starts pulling timing in boost but only in boost. Had it from 20* to 32* at 2psi. AFRs from 10.5 to 12.5 at 2psi. Im sure its not a tune issue now.
A plug colder does the same. I'm not gonna go hotter.
Engine is 8.5:1, LE trickflows, 88mm, 24x, etc.
What plugs do you boosted guys run?

Autolite 103s here, I will let you know how they do with actual boosted run time come Friday
(May be stepping down to a colder plug to hit 20+psi)
What exactly is going on? just fowling them? Your also running Meth correct? How much boost are you pushing and what is the total timing?Quote:

Meth comes on at 8psi progressively until 12psi.
Timing as of now is 30* on transition into boost, 25* at 7psi on up.

Other than the fact that their all doing it, maybe you have a weak coil pack or two?
Ryan, I'm kind of having the same issue, running BR7EF's at .028. Mine are black after a matter of a few miles. It's the nature of the beast. Running big injectors and tight gapped plugs doesn't lend to much to street driving, they'll carbon up quick.
Yup you start pouring the fuel and boost to it and that's common, same thing with nitrous guys... If your not blowing the spark out, melting plugs, or it's not down on power, they're may be nothing wrong it... post some pics of the plugs up If you can.Quote:

Damnit I've had this tune all over. Any chance they're just going bad? Or will timing play with longevity? I'm at a loss of what to do. Guarantee ill change em and it'll run great. Then the same bs.
