Well mannered. Drives like it did with the 350 in it until you ask for power. I definitely like the procharger vs the side mount. I think with enough time I could have made it work but this thing is much better at part throttle. Its loud, I'm keeping the bullets but am going to run the exhaust out to the bumper to keep the noise down (for my ears anyway). I'm ditching the power windows, not for weight savings but because the way they are wired up and the switches from the factory are a joke. It's getting a nice radio, a repaint, then she's done.
It's funny because the guys at quick performance told me a locker was going to be too noisy for street driving. I don't even know it's back there
Ophhh... try a locker behind a stick... THATS NOISY!
Well it looks like she is finally what u wanted... a car that can dd...and haul the mail. Congrats man...and sooooo close to 9s.
Certified performance is having a dyno day November 1st (I believe) @79LT1Monte
and I will see where it's at and put back some timing and see what it gains. I ended up at 17.5° total timing at 6300 and 13.5# of boost and around 11.5 afr. I believe I took about 6-8° out of the base tune that was written for an almost identical setup by a well know accel dfi guy in florida. So with that and the suspension stuff it may have a 9.99 in it. I'm not going to skinnies, not taking the back seat out, and I really don't want to put the bigger pulley on unless I do it just so I don't have to spin it as high to get it there. I think getting comfortable with the car and learning how to do a correct burnout will help a bunch. Jesus I look at the videos and think no wonder I couldn't leave at any higher rpm. After that, it is what it is. If it never goes any faster, I'm cool with that too. I'm really curious to see what kind of fuel mileage I can get out of it at this point lol. She bumps around 2k at 60 mph.
that car is really flying!!!

Like I told you over the phone chris. .
Get that car to leave hard in the first 60 feet, some small chassis work and some weight out of it and you'll have a legit 9 second street car
You can always pulley it down and push it farther into the 9s ;)
Again congrats on the accomplishments. It's nice to see a combo come together and work well after all the hard work you have put into it and helping others along the way. .
Are u willing to just do skinnies for passes? Or u want it in the same form on the road...on the track. I cant wait to see what it puts down on the dyno...
