Right, that is why the .40 s&w came out, due to the 86 fbi shoot out, since they could scale the 10mm into a 9mm frame, glawk just beat em to the punch. S&w was like aw screw them

Wasn't it because there were agents complaining the recoil was too much for them to handle on a 10mm, so S&W came up with the .40?

Glock beat them to the punch into the market with the full size, but the FBI wanted a mid sized semi automatic with power, so they made the 40, it was better suited and passed all the ballistics tests the 10mm did. S&w figured out they could take some powder out and shorten it

M&p line is designed around the 40.

i was checking out the glock 10mm when i was at the lgs picking up my p320c, its glocky lol. i just dont like how any glock feels.

I want a nice aes 10b but there hard to find. I wish a American manufacturing company would step up and build one, theres a few Romanian ones floating around

It was female shooters couldn't pass shooting tests due to the recoil, they needed something anybody could shoot.
