Oh there will be some of those. And you're exactly right, when they are young is the time to set them straight. I believe Larry would be a perfect fit for this role. He's a big guy, so they're not going walk over him. He younger, so he can relate to them. And he's, well, not white. Don't take this the wrong way but when I was in high school, our school officer was white and the black kids hated him for that. It didn't matter what he did.

I could never take that the wrong way. When i was a kid... I hated being a minority...as I have gotten older...I realized its one of my biggest assets. IM Whatever I need to be...at the time... ;)

So is that one of the local schools near by?

You know, this just occurred to me. Do you think this position is being thrown at you as a bone to have you call off the case? Maybe the towns lawyers have told the chief they are going to get their ass handles to them if it goes to court and this is his way of buying you off? Or is this position looked at as being more of a punishment?

Idk.... I thought about it...and i cant tell if its a punishment or a bone. the only way it could be a punishment is because someone would have tonknow im into more ACTION... but at the same time with my health issues...a mon-fri shift that ends at 330...ROCKS! Esp when compared to swing shifts...or 12 hour shifts...

Just wanted to update... waiting on the judge to rule on if my hip will be included in the claim for the insurance co to aknowledge.....

However the Insurance co, has been in contact with my atty attempting to make a settlement offer.

Either way, right now, it seems like for the moment...all is right with the world. Im in love with my job again, and its all different, and I feel different and extatic to be there....

FOr those that are friends with me on FB... you have been seeing some of the stuff going on...and Its nice to be making the connections with these kids that I am.
