Well Im diagnosing blindly, so trying to cover everythimg that can be ruled out for cheap or free first.

U know when it comes down to it... its usually the opti. I just hate to blame it first.

If it is, I'm smashing it with a hammer. If a brand new $450 delco opti is bad right out of the box, I'm ls swapping it....and this time.... I mean it!
Plugs in, cleaned the dialectric grease off the coil/opti and used very little on the spark plug boots. The more an more I think of the misfire, the more I chock it up the the plugs/grease.
ordered some Percy seal 4 good gaskets, waiting for those to arrive, then we will see how she goes.
Well I went through this week fixing all the exhaust leaks. I really didn't know how bad the collectors were leaking. I can hear a lot less of what I thought was valve train noise when I accelerate. I'm sure this was one of the headers leaking. I ended up going with perceys aluminum seal 4 good gaskets, and using permatex copper high temp rtv just incase. I let it set for 24 hours.
It also started fine after being warmed up, but it occasionally did that prior too. I will do more scanning this weekend, fingers crossed. At least I am making improvements.
