I like getting there the day before, eating good food, relaxing, etc. Then we stay the night after to watch festivities. Great time.
I go weds or thurs by noon. Like a little us time... and a few others come early so we start the partying early. Its also cool watching the community roll in.
If u wait till friday nite, u missed the car show (usually done on friday in hotel fairgrounds).
