The lip on the driver side that runs parallel to frame rail. Is where you may need to grind. Haven't pulled the K yet. Giving my body a break for a few days.

As for mounts. Use a poly like energy suspension ect. For test i used my old stock k with rubber. My tubular has poly.
Shame you guy's won't make a big tube version, I asked like a year ago to check :(. I know the market for that is real small, but there is literally no off the shelf big primary header - we have to get custom ones from Kooks or Lemons which cost an arm and a leg.
I agree completely on the mounts and fitment. It really makes a HUGE difference. When I did my engine swap, the motor mounts and trans mount were 100% brand new poly mounts. When I installed the LPPs while the kframe and engine were out of the car (the engine was mounted to the kframe), I had a ton of clearance. When I installed the assembly into the car for the engine swap, I still had a ton of clearance. I drove it around town put about 80 miles on it and I spun two bearings, had to tear it all out and rebuild the engine. When I mounted the rebuilt engine to the kframe and then mounted the LPPs back on I had a lot less clearance than before and by the time it was buttoned up into the car I had no clearance and had to do some adjustments. I can't imagine that the poly mounts would have sagged over an inch that quickly, so my only other thought was that there's a lot more "wiggle room" for adjusting the headers when you install them to the engine than might be apparent.
Waiting for input from the other two that bought the headers:(
Lets go guys. Get them in so LPP can start making these for all the peeps in here:)
