U remember the friend that i was complaining about... that put in the texas speed motor... but was having oil pressure issues.. so the fix was to lower the computers warning from 9 to 5psi... and i told him that was not good....? Thats him.
Hes a good dude... but there are "car guys" then there are "guys with cars." He is the latter.
He is learning, but does not get all of the little things that "car guys" dont do. Lol.
As far as i know... he is not a member here (see the beauty of non members not having access, lol)...
Right, so he seems to believe the 909 number that a shop gave him pretty well.
Bet that car runs a mid 11 at 130 area.
Lol... well as u guess people always comment on it because lets be honest... real "car guys" dont put hp on their cars. But if they did... it would be rwhp... not crank. If im not mistaken... he did the calculations based off of his highest rwhp with a 19% loss thru the drivetrain.
If the car runs 11s i think he would be suprised. Its a very heavy car. Its a 3 ring binder show car... thats his deal... he goes to shows and if it does not win... it gets more things added to it. Ive known him for 3 years now (met at the first dyno day) and ths csr was very diff then... mirrors... rear seat removed for huge system... carbon fiber everywhere... the new motor on a car that has 40 or 50 k on it... it goes on... dont forget the air bags and on board compressor and tank and stuff for the ride height...
We have tried to get him to come to the track and run and he will not. I do understand not wanting to break stuff on an investment (i wont race the white car kind of thinking).
