progress¿ redhorse stuff finally showed up. made the first line. stuff is nice and assembles easy. fire sleeved it just for added protection, and also bought fragola pressure test fittings to verify no leaks.
now it needs to get warmer. even with a 60000 btu torpedo heater, it was too cold today, and too cold to open both doors to get the motor on the k and back together with transhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1c1ecf33ec.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...074482305c.jpg

You got alot done considering you were sick and freezing. Looking good.
I'm liking that MM catch can setup. I've looked at them but haven't coughed up the bucks.
Curious, Does the fresh air hose have a restrictor?
yea it does. they ship with basically a pcv fitting for a stock intake with a drilled 3/32nd orifice. I had to drill out a plug to 3/32nd and thats in the passenger valvecover elbow with the new routing. can itself has a check valve on the 6an side going under the elbow, and the breather on top has a check too. so when the 6an check closes, the breather check opens and vents to atmosphere

Looking good. I wish I had a fraction of the motivation you have.
Stand up radiator? Or just holding it up out of the way?

I didn't even know they made them fancy polished SS radiator support covers! Nice.
What fitting did you use on your valve cover breather lines? Is that those NHRA legal fittings with the locknut?
I'm either gonna buy a MM can or fabricate a copy cat. Seems to be the ultimate design, I just can't get myself to bite on the high price. I think my Camaro might benefit from some crankcase vacuum but in the meanwhile I'm running a breather line on both valve covers to a tee, then a hose down to the side of the air filter. I call it a boat engine breather system. I don't know about now, but none of the old boat engines used PCV systems.
