The pistol I learned to shoot was a colt 1860 army .44 cap and ball revolver. It was a pain in the ass to load! If I am shooting close with it I barely need to aim. The ergonomics of this revolver is done the right way. For fun though it's still 1911 for me.

I'm sure once your skill level gets so high you will need a rifle that can hold better tolerances. I'm not there yet, someday I hope to outshoot a rifle.

Thats my point i learned to shoot old school rifles, i can pick them up and shoot blindfolded, i know exactly where you are coming from. The missus on the other hand learned on an AR platform, shoots them great but she cant shoot classic sporter style rifles comparatively.

I'm happy. Getting used to the g23. These were all two shots per second at 21' away. Used to be all over the map. Tried some two round drills by only loading two rounds into the mag, but for some reason the glawk doesn't like that. I had a FTE every time. :\ As soon as I'd put 3 or more it was fine.

The follower isnt flat or even when only loading two rounds. If you load the mag all the way it levels itself. I would try slapping the mag with two rounds flat on a table to level the follower.

But once you get to the last two rounds of a mag, doesn't it behave the same way?

Its funny how once you buy something you immediately then see tons of cheap alternatives you wanted but couldn't find your price point. :lol:

Real gun enthusiasts reload. Price point moot.

Plus leo's most don't carry 10mms, I wouldn't think departments would issue them. I know some can carry what they qualify with but those aren't surplus since they aren't department issue.

Most LEO depts carry 9mm and .40 cal. Exceptions are some that carry .45 but its not common.

man crush at one time was in the market for a glock at a cheap price.

and as asked, regarding the follower, what is the difference between emptying a full mag and loading two rounds?

Its legit, SSRRRRRR can't shoot without a limp wrist and it FTE mods on him.

And Richard, technically I can easily shoot a G20 with my .40 ammo. Just not vice versa ;)
