Its interesting that both my sister and mom did not like the upkick of my pistol but were fine shooting a 9mm. I have yet to start doing quick follow up shots but so far the .40 has yet to live up to the internet hype of impossible to shoot for me at least.

Its factory, which claims to be ~6.5lbs, but IMO, its lighter than that. You can breath on the trigger and it goes bang.

I reload so it usually doesn't matter the caliber but I'll start newbs with a full frame .45 with non power factor loads. Just enough to cycle.

I always when "target shooting" or pulling Hickock shit recite "soft hands" in my head. I tell people "light and gay" as well. You are pulling the shots with your trigger finger.
When you have a good grip, you don't need to squeeze the gun.
You have to work on one motor skill at a time.
Finally did the year membership at the range tonight, and went with gf.
We rented a .22 S&W for her and ironically she shot much better with my PPX.
That could be attributed to your PPX weighing more than the .22. A heavier gun is much easier to keep steady.
Yea def, and sight distance or whatever its called is longer on PPX vs .22
