What's the difference?
Series: Trans out -> First cooler -> Second cooler -> Trans in
Parallel: Trans out -> split to feed both coolers ->both coolers merge to trans in
Less pressure build up in parallel versus series. Also theoretically doesn't heat up fluid after it has been cooled off if one cooler is working better than the other.
And yes, T brake builds heat very fast
So what are you.doing? Running a line out, and "y'ing" it and running it to both coolers then y them back together?
I just ran mine in series, that's how my old set up was and didn't have any issues, I did go from.a tube/fin cheapy to a stacked plate which should help.
Hmm just wondering where did you read that running trans fluid in series will heat up in the 2nd cooler. I can't really grasp that one. Pushing a thin fluid like trans fluid through a 3/8 line I doubt your going to see any build up of heat in series. Maybe a a bit of pressure. Then again I'm always learning, you have a link?
My thought is that in moving speeds, the front cooler will have fluid cooler than the fan cooler, so if I pump it through the front cooler then to the fan cooler, it will get heated before going into trans. Reverse is sitting in trafffic, the fan cooler will be more effective and rather than sending the cool fluid to the front cooler to heat up, it just goes to trans.
Thats my jumbled thoughts on it. In other news, do not forget that your trans cooler is a male thread out, and actually order the right fittings
Ya I don't know. I guess if your trans stays cool and your stuff don't blow up your good lol. What cooler did you order? I ordered the bm stacked plate ones and they're 1/2 npt female threads.
I wish I had a turbo set up so I could stuff the coolers under the car. I have to chrs 1313 and this is the only place I could stuff mine
Current trans cooler ...its a derale tube and fin double pass with fan

Added B&M plate and fin here...

Hope it cools things down a lot, at worst, it added capacity to the system.
It'll work :) just make sure the asshole in the other lane is double bulbed before you go putting the brake on. Buddy has gotten screwed by sitting with the brake on building boost while the other guy is just pre staged taking his sweet ass time knowing he's a Turbo car
Only cost him a grand for the race and a couple grand to.fix the trans, what a retard :D
Plan on running no time any time I race it and what not, ya know.
Ya that's where i race. No times and they lay down marshmallow and Hershey's syrup heated up for traction and I take 2 hits of acid before I go down the strip and it feels like I'm going in a time machine. I race it no time all time :D. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I quit taking my prozac, seroquel, adderal, and Xanax. I've been feeling weird lately
:D
There is a guy at work with a 95 and he has a "hot hot cam" in some sort of 383 that runs a blistering low 13's, I told him my car has an exhaust leak, gonna see if he wants to line up this fall.
Hey I have a hot cam. I have a 95 too. Might just be me ;)
So, any guesses on numbers?
How many lbs.
You on pump gas and meth? Leaning on it real hard? Gonna stab this one and say 603. Your 80e and 10 bolt?
im a pc with a lil less boost...parasitic power loss from blower on pump makin 602/540
thru a 9"
u should do better.

Made 537/733 at like 4000 or so rpm, wastegate spring only, no meth, pump gas, and maybe 10psi
Gotta get an exhaust on it at least past the cabin so I don't fumugate the tuner again, then see what more rpm and boost do. Want 700/700 area.
Lol, I'd say 700 is possible. Thats only 150hp. You got this.

Damn 530/730 are you sure those ain't the Cummins #'s
I usually see the hp and tq #'s closer but I don't know crap.
You have the hp and tq curves?:)
