Was a tiny little jig. I'll try to find it online in a second. Went to this sweet pool just below a dam. Saw 4 other guys there all using red and orange egg sacks. Tied an orange egg on and fished for about 30 minutes. Nobody got anything. So I figured i'd mix up the color a bit. Put the chartruese jig on, and first cast he nailed it. It's a bad pic, but he was roughly 26" and 6-7lbs.

Yeehaw! Bet that was fun!
I used to catch loads of walleye and perch on lake Huron. Fish have disappeared due to gobies, an invasive species.
I once had a lake sturgeon, but lost it because our net wasn't big enough :(
Here's the video of me fighting the big laker. You'll notice we are all covered up. It was very warm out but there were millions of gnats hatching on the water. They were everywhere.

I was fishing the lower Niagara River this am. I spotted something BIG in the water swimming up near me. Luckily I had my phone out so I started to record. It was a beaver just cruising up the shoreline. He decided to surface right in front of me and continue on his way. One of those "had to be there" moments.

Went out to a sweet spot today. Cattaraugus Creek in fabled Zoar Valley. Absolutely breathtaking scenery but one hell of a hike, lol. It's literally 1 mile from my truck down to the water, and then some of the fishing holes are another mile away. In the fall this is an A+ steelhead stream, and in the summer it's an A+ smallmouth bass fishery. We went out from 9am until about 2:45 in the sun all day. Caught 5 nice smallmouth and 1 tiny brown trout. we lost about 3 other fish, my girl lost a really big one.
