A-arms, how strong are the stock uppers? eventually i will be replacing them but right know i just want to get the car back on the road and the wallet dose not agree currently.

They are fine. I wouldn't do an open track day everyday for a week for 2 week, but you have no worries.

Stock uppers are plenty strong. aftermarket is more for greater adjustabilty and weight savings.
