So I thought I'd try out the GM LT4 777 intake gaskets because I don't think the AFR 6860s seal for shit. I keep finding oil in my intake runners so it's either the gaskets, PCV, or the sealant on the rocker studs didn't hold.
Turns out they sell the GM gaskets individually and not as a set so I'm missing 1. Why would anybody ever need just 1???
Intake is pretty much ready to go back on. Enlarged the opening to 58mm and did some very minor work on the runners. They are still comically small compared to the 210 port.
Also bought a used 1le elbow to replace the crappy restrictive aluminum one.
Still need to clean out all of my lifters and inspect them all along with the rest of the valvetrain. Was getting a intermittent tap that was very light after running for a few mins.

Painted any color you'd like, as long as it's black

Looks nice. I'm sure you broke a lot of hearts painting it black.
Catmaigne, did you paint that? That looks good!
Personally, I thought you were crazy when you were removing all the red powder coat. That had to be tons of work.
Yep, rattle canned it myself. I had to get rid of the ugly factory powder coat because it was chipped and sanded in some spots. Stripping it was a huge bitch and it would've made more sense to get it blasted but I didn't want to dump more money into a temporary setup.
