Ohhhh... very nice. When im at a comp ill have to check it out better and start my ordering.
It is saying that there is a timing cover that is made without the opti hole... right?

it says you need to use the vented opti cover. so 95-97 front cover but if you go to electric water pump I'm sure a sbc one would fit but I'm not sure.
what are you hoping for, for power?
what trans is going in the vette?
oh well very close to mine but I'm hoping for a 410-430 at the wheels then the motor is built for nitrous so what ever i want to shoot i can. prob a 200 for now with a built 700R4 with manual and reverse valve body all in a 1970 SWB C10 weighing about 4200lbs. with pretty much a camaro rear suspension
Here is the plan. The donor car will be pushed in the weekend after vday weekend. The new owner of the t56 swap stuff and his friend will cone down and join me in removing the motor... the trans amd everything else needed or spoken for. With that done... i will cut a section of floor out to use on my TA that had rusted through, then the local guy who wanted the door and t tops will get them. Once it is stripped to that point it will go for scrap... the engine will then get a gasket freshening and minor changes (slowly) and when its 100% ready...when ever that is... the Vette will be brought in to have the motor stripped and prepped and the ltx will be installed. This is a "no rush" project at this time.

Still have alot of work to do but the vettes new heart is awaiting a new home (after some work of course).
Put some thought into it...
Keeping it.... and the vette.
Intake is being given to a friend to drill and tap for fogger... "direct port"
Intake will be painted or powder coated to match the white of the gs stripe.
Gonna go over motor as long as everything looks good... will be sealed back up... block will be painted admiral blue to match the car.
Heads will be sent out to be cleaned up... and surfaced. Set up for LE cam... then everything assembled and will wait to be put in the vette this coming winter.
And one of these...
