this reminds me... I wanna take it to our guy and have him do a svc and shift kit on the trans & anything else he can do to make it better, (while still in the car)

Your right, it is allowing you to run more timing, which is a slightly longer burn so it is more powerful. Sounds almos like it was supposed to have higher octane.
You can leave it and run a mix, it would be like stepping from regular to premium for more timing. No real drawback other than doubling fill-ups, fuel grade quality, etc. you know what's up lol.
Or you could go the other way n run pure 112 n bump timing up a bit lol. Lotta options depending on what you wanna do overall.
Your current setup would probably work well with nitrous cuz if you plan to run at the track or something just fill with pure 112 n timing shouldn't need adjusted, but don't quote me on that! Just in theory sounds good.
Personally I'd just do the adjustment n not keep mixing for the main point of being less hassle in the long run. Idk how much you drive it so maybe once a month to fill up wouldn't be too bad but every week or so might get rather annoying lol.

If its your DD I'd just turn timing back to run the 93 without pinging at WOT.... course in my 7 years driving I don't think I've ever been brave enough to go wot in my daily lol. Either way it sounds like you got your issues figured out, just need to choose which solution.

As for goin wot in.my dd.... this vette is my beater...to play with..have fun with amd not really hold back.... if it breaks...so be it...it keeps me from thrashin on my baby (camaro.) lol

LOL... thought about making the vette the site car.. but I really do use it to much to make it "everyones"
car.... The camaro used to be a DD till the past year... I just want to keep from beating on it...so that is where the vette comes in. In fact the vette was purchased because driving regular cars bores me.. and while the camaro was down I needed something more enjoyable to drive... The escalade is my bad weather...lazy day, or "my back is out" DD... other than that ...she sits till the winter...
