Had the vette in to get detailed inside and out, and while it was there I asked if they could wrap the center console area around the shifter.
The plastic has a finish that does not age well and actually turns into a sticky plastic feel.
Wanted to make the car nice for the new owner so the guys at the shop said all they had in stock was their "true carbon fiber" wrap... i gave them the go ahead. (I love cf).
I think its s nice touch and looks good. Now i wanna do stuff in all my cars.

Called the credit union. They said the check has cleared... but it will be until next Wednesday before its 100% safe...
Till then, she sits in the garage all detailed and safe.

Starting to get calls from transport companies to make arrangements to ship....

Wtf... so i had the transporters call me the other day and tell me they could get the car in an hour and i advised that i was at work id need better notice than that. I then got a call from then owner of the transport company amd we reviewed the next two weeks of available times and dates to release the car... a day later, TODAY, Angela texts me and requests and immediate call back. I get on the phone with her and she says... "um they are here to pick up the vette?" I had her put the driver on the phone...he barely spoke English and could not explain to me why when the last time i asked for more notice...this time i get 0. I tell him to have his boss call me... his boss calls me and says what can i do for u... i explain the situation and tell him... No Notice... No Car...
