Farm bird ... well it did better than I thought. don't recall what heads where on that 455 stage 1 or 2's or was it a Letter I can remember E or W or something like that
I haven't seen the show yet, but am halfway through the newest podcast. the slow reaction time was all chief messing with him, he bumped in way quicker than the GM driver was expecting and that threw him off both times. podcast has all the unscripted inside dealings of the mega race and really makes ricardo look like a complete ass about the whole situation.
I gotta say. As much as I understood chiefs position on RRR driving himself, RRR made a valid point, and he never claimed any different... he doesnt know how to drive a 4 sec 1/8th mile car. Getting behind the wheel of 3k+ hp, would be dangerous for both drivers.
LTXtech.com IS my drug...

When they were forming the rules they told Richard that with the rules they agreed on that they would have cars capable of 3s in the 1/8 and asked him if he wanted to slow it down. He said no. He thought if he set the bar high enough he could out spend them and win, but it didn't happen.

I agree, I think it was stupid of chief to expect Richard to drive that car and probably made too much of a big deal about it, but they were the rules that the agreed on in the first episode; either Aaron or Richard would drive the car. I mean really the only rules Gas Monkey followed were over 2500lbs and steel quarters/roof with vin tag, the rest he just ignored like when they raced the Roadkill guys and lost. just makes Richard look like an lying idiot that still cant win races even when he "cheats".
either way, I'm happy with the outcome and think that the Midwest guys deserved the win way more than Gas Monkey/Laughlin Motorsports
Rawlings is an idiot. How can you be in a main sponsor on drag racing team but need a "hole shot win" explained? He's a car guy?

That was funny how no one from GMG understood ET, RT and how it all works together.
