Got it to idle .... vacuum port for brake booster was not capped and it wasn't happy.... fixed that ... also got the cooling system rigged up kinda ... now I can do a few heat cycles then put it in the car.

remember rings don't get seated by idling or revving, need to have engine loaded.Quote:

Well update tonight ....hard work pays off ... it's been a hard last 7 months with so much going g on ... but I bought a house got married got the motor running ... but tonight I feel like I've accomplished something big ... ... I've always had to work on my cars outside in a gravel driveways. ... but today this happend ... I opened the door to MY garage in MY house and looked at the motor that was built by MY hands going in MY race car.

Congrats!! Garages are the best!! Mine isn't huge, and i'd love for it to have a hoist but just having a spot that is JUST for the race car makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
Okay ... I did a test fit had to trim more off the cowl ... today I have to replace the driver side brake line that got damaged putting the K member back in.
